Why nails matter more than people think.
Long nails change the way your dog walks. Over months and years that bad gait causes joint pain, hip strain, and even arthritis flare-ups in seniors. Florida sidewalks don't grind nails down on their own - most of our houses have grass yards, not pavement walks. Most Tampa dogs need a trim every 3 to 4 weeks.
Black nails, no problem.
We use a bright LED light and a slow grind to safely shape black nails without quicking. If your dog has had a bad clipping experience before - most reactive nail dogs have - we go slow, use lots of treats, and do one paw at a time.

Do I need to book a full appointment?+
Not always. We try to slot nail trims into our regular route. Call us with your ZIP code and we'll usually find a same-week opening, sometimes same day.
What if my dog is reactive about nails?+
Tell us up front. We'll plan extra time, lots of treats, and we'll do as much as your dog will tolerate without forcing it. Sometimes that means two paws today and two paws next week - and that's totally fine.
